NTUF Condemns Police Brutality Against Baloch Women Protesters in Karachi

The General Secretary of the National Trade Union Federation Pakistan, Comrade Nasir Mansoor, has strongly condemned the brutal violence by Sindh Police against peaceful Baloch solidarity protesters, especially women, in Karachi. He stated that the arrest of twelve women, including Sami Baloch, and the physical assault on women by the SP and male police officers on duty is a shameful act.

It is also concerning that there is still no information about the whereabouts of eight other male activists who were arrested.

He demanded the release of all arrested female activists, including Sami Baloch, and the recovery of other male political activists.

He also called for action against the SP and male police officers who mistreated the women.
